Fave Boating Expeditions

FAVE Boating Expeditions is dedicated to providing a variety of boating experiences:

For any "individual" whose life has been touched and forever changed by the death of a service member that was due to or during the service member's time of service. (FAVE does not limit its assistance to "next of kin," as is the Department of Defense's mandate.) Instead, anyone [Soldier (active or veteran), Family Member, Caregiver or Friend] whom the service member left behind, who is grieving and/or suffering from that loss, is invited to participate in a boating expedition as a way to help deal with his or her stress and pain. To honor, support and promote healing of the mind and spirit in a relaxed environment out on the water at no cost to that "individual".

To make a positive difference in the lives of those "individuals" who loved and cared deeply for a soldier (active or veteran) who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country through gratitude and love by a diverse group of staff and volunteers. FAVE Boating Expeditions makes no political, ideological or religious view of the war or other conflicts in which the United States may be involved. Its sole purpose is to bring healing to all those individuals who have been affected in some way (mentally and/or emotionally) by the death of a brave man or woman who served in the military for our country and freedom.
